Lotte van der Woude (1986, Amsterdam) graduated as a political scientist and visual artist. As the child of two theater employees, she often sat from the side of the stage to watch the performance. For her, the performance was always ambiguous: on the one hand on stage and on the other what is happening simultaneously behind the scenes. Nowadays Lotte makes experimental documentaries in which she makes the process leading up to the performance the main act. It is her goal to see a visible end result not as a fixed fact, but as an agreement of different interests or in some cases a capricious outcome of a historical process.
